Athletes in Action has re-imagined the staycation! We help you bring the day camp experience straight to your community’s backyards!
THE BACKYARD CAMP EXPERIENCE IS HERE
Day camp delivered to the backyards of your neighbourhood & church.
Think of Playcation like a television show.
We’ve created two weeks of unique content, five episodes each. The first set of videos are centred around soccer drills and activities from an explicitly Christian perspective, while the second week is based on basketball. You will notice that the stories from the coaches in week two are carefully constructed so that they might be appropriate for a non-Christian audience.
Playcation is designed to work by participating in one episode per day. In this way, it still feels like day camp. Playcation isn’t meant to be digested all in one sitting. Although it can be watched continuously, it’s designed with natural stopping points for human interaction. Like the classic caveat from a toy commercial: “some assembly is required”. Playcation was designed for engagement with your campers!
As we created Playcation, our hope was that we would be able to take each day’s theme beyond the video and into conversations with hosts, parents, peers and friends.
TEN DAYS WORTH OF CONTENT
Dates
You have access to the content and can choose to host your camp during the dates that work best for you. You will receive unlimited access to the content and can use it as many times as you would like.
Camps can be run from your own church, gym, field, or backyard, get creative! Remember, campers can gather together or participate from their home. The times and location of where and when you choose to host the camp are entirely up to you.

Campers can choose to purchase a camp shirt, ball, and cones. Items will be delivered to them directly or can be picked up at a given location

AIA Playcation has been creatively curated with you in mind, for your church to host a camp and offer the sport camp experience to children and families in your community!
